Will a clown host a Blue Xenia or a Green Star Polyp even though they aren't anemones?

I just got some small frags of Blue Xenia and Green Stars so when they grow I'm hoping my clown will take one in.

[welcome]

No, but it is possible for a Xenia or a GSP to host a clown. ;)

Pretty much anything to be used as a host for clowns, even a powerhead.

They may well but you'll have greater luck with euphyllia's such as Frogspwan, Torch etc, which look similar to nem's but are considered alot more hardy etc.

I got a few frags of these, so I'll have to get some frogspawn after. I was watching something on TV in HD today and I believe the clowns were in frogspawn. Frogspawn isn't an anemone though isn't it? Said there's only 10 species of anemones that host clowns.

Clowns get creative, I had on host a hairy mushroom, my botther's is hosting a featherduster. It's odd the duster stays open and the clown cuddles in it.

yeah really clowns will host just about anything my black percs are hosting a brain even though they have rose, go figure!
