Clowns hosted by Monti cap

I picked up a pair of tiny tank raised occ's a few weeks ago for my nano. This past week they have taken to my red cap, I mean they are all over it. Will there be any long term effects to the cap with these clowns being hosted by it? I already noticed the cap hasn't had full PE since, will it get used to it?

Also both clowns have the black spots developing, which I know is because they are getting stung by their host but I never knew a cap could pack a punch to effect the skin pigment of clowns?
