Clowns in a 100g

So I'm piecing together my stock list for my 100g (48"Lx18"Wx26"H) and I'm torn between a pair of maroons and a pair of pink skunks. Do I have to choose? Can they coexist given plenty of rockwork with nooks and crannies? :hmm4:

*heavy sigh* I know, I just love those mean little things. I had a pair in my 55 and they were my favorite fish in the tank, easily. Maybe I will do the maroons in my 100 and put pink skunks in my 40 breeder (AKA the tank I told the fiance would be going into storage once the 100 was up and running..heheh).

Haha plans changed, sorry babe.

All I want os one pair of clown (for sure will have other fish but the clowns is what I'm set on) but gonna be so hard to choose which clowns!

I wonder if you can do a school of Maroons, In the freshwater world individual members of a group have smaller territories. Once established they coexist.

I wouldn't be surprised if a pair of maroon clowns basically dominated a 100gallon tank.

Whatever else goes in there better not be a damsel/clown/chromis of any kind, and it better be tough (dwarf angel) or fast (Halichoeres or Coris wrasse), and I would add it before the clowns get very big.

They did okay in my other tank with four other fish (watchman goby, two blennies, and a citron goby). They were also added last, which I would also be doing with this tank, and ideally would be adding them when they're still on the smaller side. I don't plan on having any damsels or chromis (or clowns, now) in the 100.

I like maroons but I don't think there my favorite I love the shape of your basic clown fish and there are so many different types I would love to bread them some day and see what new color or pattern I could come up with (sorry kinda off topic but I love clowns).

I have a maroon in my 55, he is great but having him in there means I cannot add any other species of clowns. That being said he definitely adds a lot of personality to the tank and he is not to aggressive toward his mates.
