Club Shirts!

I created Donny's designs in stitches, and an embroiderer friend of mine is going to give us a great deal on the embroidered shirts.

We have two designs to choose from. The club will provide one shirt with the white and blue coral ETRC logo on it for anybody that signs up to actively work the swap.

Otherwise they are for sale at our cost.

The white and blue coral logo shirts will sell for $7, and the "tang love" t-shirts will sell for $10 for sizes small through extra large. Add $1 for any size XXL and over.

Its for a decent quality t-shirt, in all the basic colors. Depending on the color of shirt you choose, the white areas of the designs could be swapped out for black to show up better.

If there is any interest in nicer shirts, like polos or button-ups, or even jackets, i can bring a catalog to the May meeting for you to look through.

If you'd like to order a shirt, you can either PM or email me. Just let me know:

1. which design
2. color of shirt
3. what size

Thanks!

I have a suggestion:

In order to thank the sponsors, or maybe reduce cost even further, maybe you could put sponsor names on the shirt for advertising.

It's not my decision to make, but I think a $7 shirt is cheap enough already, so I'd just get the sponsors to either pay the additional cost of adding their logos or names and/or bump the price up just a tad bit to cover it...and call it a thanks to them.

I'd leave the sponsors off these shirts. I'd only put them on it if we had one that was 2010 Frag-swap specific.

I'll send you my pre-order soon, I am sure. I like the way those look. :)

its a good idea, but doing something like that would work better screen printed than in embroidery. it would be a ton of stitches, which would mean a ton of $. we plan on a big thank you poster for the swap door tho...

Good point. You're the pro, so I'll take your word at something I know nothing about. :lolspin:

I'm not trying to stir up trouble. I'm asking a legitimate question.

What is the point of having a club logo if it can't be used at the clubs discretion?

That's not the club logo. It's a design that Donny came up with for the flyers this year. He does a different one each year for the swap. I think it takes a lot of work on his part.

Unfortunately there is much stipulation going on. However, there are many things which are unknown to most members. Please do not start an argument out of ignorance.

Dana, despite what the current stipulations are, I do believe the shirts are very nice.

donny, i'm not sure what stipulation you're referring to, especially since all negative issues have been debated publicly, we've tried to keep everything on the up and up with everybody since day one. nobody likes arguments, and i'm glad you like the shirts.
