Clumping sand bed

Does anyone else have this problem? I does bionic 2part in high flow area spaced ten minutes apart. I use 50 ml of each each day dosed 1/2 in am and 1/2 in pm to keep my alk at 8.3 and calcium about 440. My sand bed turns into hard rock like clumps. Tank holds 100 gallons

Yes. Just clean with suction each water change to keep it loose or get a few sea cucumbers / sand sifting gobies time do the work.
