Coast to Coast Overflow

Anyone with experience with these able to give me dimension of one? I'm not sure of them, all I can seem to find on google is pics of them and no actual measurements.

I am needing to get one made for my 120g tank, 48" long, 24" tall and 24 " deep.

I was thinking of going to full length of the tank, but then I figured that would be over-kill...

Anyone able to give me some info?

I built one for my 75. Look in my gallery for some pic. I did not put to the ends of my tank since I wanted my returns to sit on the back of the tank.

it could be any size you like as long as the bulkheads and elbows fit inside i built one for my frag tank didnt go full length only half way if i did it again i would put one in the middle but leave room for a couple of powerheads or returns on each end

Yea, I was just thinking that myself... Deere G said he would fabricate one for me, I'm looking for size dimensions.

I'm not wanting to go all the way across after thinking about it. So I'm thinking about 36" long... But I'm not sure how "deep" or "tall" to get this thing made... I'm going to be doing Beans pipes on this thing.

Sean (DiscoReefRover) is kind enough to come down and drill my tank for me and what-not when I'm ready. So I'm just trying to figure out the dimensions of the over-flow box...

For my tank, I think I had 2 pieces of glass cut. One 40X4" and one 40X3" or 3.5". Two other pieces of glass were cut for the ends. I siliconed the pieces together and let them sit for a few days, then I siliconed the whole thing to my tank and let that sit for a few days. I have 3 1" bulkhead and PVC elbows turned up-side down.
I measured and drilled the tank first before I put on the overflow. The 4" piece of glass is for the front and the 3/3.5" piece is for the bottom.
From the other threads about the overflows, be carefull with acrylic, It may not stick well with the silicone and may leak. The cost of the glass was about 40, but I did get the smoked glass. I might go with regular glass now since within 6 months, the whole thing was covered with coraline algae.
