Hi all!
I really like my c2c so far, I think it's doing a very good job of skimming stuff out of the tank. I do find that once the crud makes its way to the overflow it is tending to settle a bit rather than being carried to the sump. I have just been going at it with a toothbrush weekly (when I blow off the rocks prior to vac'ing the sand) to nudge it along before I change my filter sock. I figure if the flow is low enough for it to settle there it probably isn't doing too much to the water quality. I'm not worried about my levels, it's just not something I anticipated. I think that part of the issue is I have a 55 so the back side is relatively long for the amount of water I need to move through the overflow. Like, a 5x overflow on a 40b is not as spread out, I'm seeing it mostly at the far corners.
Was wondering if this an issue others have had, and if so what they do.
Thanks!
