Coe job refugium skimmer

I have a hob refugium skimmer that I can't figure out how to tune it in. I lower the cup slowly each day and then it goes from empty to full in one day.

I am guessing you have a cpr brand? There are lots of things that will make skimmer go nuts. First is this a newer tank/skimmer? Do you dose medication, additives? What type of food. Would need more info. I would recommend setting it and leaving it for longer periods to find the happy zone.

Yes the cpr. And it's a new tank that it's on. I do not put anything in the tank. It has rock in it and some sand. That is all.
