Color Help

I bought a nice rock with over 100 heads for $30 for 50% off and the rock was laying on a lot of the colony's and the color is very light. Will the color get brighter over time in my light?

Yeah they are probably a lighter color from not getting enough light under the rock.

Will they gain the color back?

Acclimate to your lighting slowly and gradually move the rock up

definately.... now how bright and how fast will depend on your lighting....mh, t5, led, ext

I have T5's and I put them straight in the middle They are getting a lot of light there. At the LFS they were on the very top almost out of the water but the rock was just moved differently.

Here is a pic, the lower right is a pale blue. The tope left are actually bright red and the back side and covered the same as the front and they are neon green and blue and some reds. The whole back side is bright colored. I think its a very nice piece either way, what do you guys think? Sorry this was taken on my phone and there was algae on the glass.

they should recover/color up nicely with t5s

That's great! I didn't acclimate them to the light slowly, I really cant as there is very limited space with all the coral that I have. LOL. I'm sure you guys know what I mean. It's a pretty nice colony though I think. Somewhere between 50 and 100 heads.

zoas are extremely resilient.... you'll be good

There's actually 236 heads that I counted and maybe more!
