color variation in MH bulbs?

has anyone noticed before a variance in color between 2 identical bulbs in the same fixture? I have AB bulbs that came with my oceanlight and one side is different in color than the other. 250 watt AB 10000 HQI are the bulbs in question. Is it normal?

This happens, no 2 halide bulbs are 100% the same.

ok...Its just slightly annoying on an expensive fixture

Did you try switching the bulbs out to another socket in your fixture? They do have a different ballast and charging capacitor which could also have a variance
