Colt Coral

So about three weeks ago, I had purchased a colt coral of DD. The image showed that it would be pink. It arrived looking a blueish color and kind of shriveled.

I assumed that it meant it was just upset and would eventually start to open up. Well in that time it really hasn't changed at all. I think it may have opened a bit one day? It had little brown feathers sticking out of the tips. But since then I haven't seen it open.

Is it normal for them to change color and to be temperamental for this long? I almost think that it's dieing.

They come in so many colors. If it is wild caught that may be why it is different color. I have several leathers and one took about a month to be happy and slothed its skin off. I had to move it once or twice before it found a spot it liked.

Can you post a picture of the coral?

I had one for a year that never seemed happy. I moved it to a med flow area and it stated thriving. Little arms would break off and start new colts in other areas of the tank though so keep an eye that it doesn't get out of hand :)
