Thanks again for registering for HVRK's 2006 summer event, "A Call to Farms", featuring guest speaker Anthony Calfo.

As a reminder, this event will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2006, beginning at 10:00 am.

The Elks club is located on the east side of route 9D, exactly two miles south of Exit 11 off of route 84.

Here is the approximate schedule of events (subject to changes):

10:00 - Sign-in begins
10:25 - Welcome
10:30 - Anthony Calfo's Presentation-"A Call to Farms"
12:30 - Lunch break - pizza, snacks and soda/water to be provided by HVRK.
1:00 - Anthony Calfo's Fragging Demonstration
2:00+ - Door prizes
Raffle(chinese auction) drawing immediately following door prizes
Frag Auction immediately following raffle drawing

In addition, a limited number of Anthony Calfo's books, "Book of Coral Propagation" and "Reef Invertebrates" will be available for purchase at $30 each. Anthony will take some time to sign his books following his demonstration.

Door prizes will be winner's choice from a variety of products donated by Caribsea, Seachem, Marineland, Aquarium Systems,
Tetra, Tropical Fish Hobbyist, Reef Nutrition, DT's phytoplankton and others, as well as free unmounted coral frags from Anthony's demo.
Each registrant will receive a single door prize ticket at sign-in.

Raffle tickets will cost $1 per ticket and will be available per sale from 10 am up until the start of the drawing, except during Anthony's presentation and demonstration. Raffle prizes include a Euro-reef RS80 protein skimmer, an Icecap 2x54 watt T-5 retrofit kit, an AWI Typhoon III 75 gpd RO/DI, a Marineland 29 gallon Eclipse Aquarium Combo, a mixed set of 6 55 watt Hamilton PC bulbs and more, as well as gift certificates from Oceans Motions, Marine Depot, Live Aquaria/Drs. F&S, Reef Science and Dr. Macs Pacific East Aquaculture.

The frag auction will feature a variety of widely sought after sps and lps frags including Tyree LE Purple Green Eyes Cyphastrea japonica, a rainbow montipora, a rastafaria watermelon, a Tubs LE Alien eye, a rainbow stag, a blue vermiculata along with several other sps, lps, soft corals, zoanthids, clams and anemones. We will try to move the auction along as fast as we are able and ask that people consider this when making bids. The decision on final bids for the auction will be solely determined by the HVRK representatives who are running the auction.

Please note that this will be a "CASH-ONLY" event. Personal checks, credit cards, PayPal, etc., will not be accepted for the frag auction, raffle or book sales.

We are looking forward to an educational day along with some great fellowship among reef hobbyists. Thank you in advance for attending this event.
