Compatability of diff clown species..

I'm curious.. Will an Ocellaris and a Tomato clown co-habitate without fighting?

I believe that the tomato is very aggressive and will destroy the Ocellaris.

If you get them as juvi's you should be ok. I seen ppl do off the wall pairings all the time. I know a breeder who paired a tomato with a Darwin and he made black tomato clowns and they are called rotten tomatoes.

i have a pair of tomato clowns in my ritteri along with the surviving perc from a pair. the tomatos killed one perc, but now all three share the anemone. the tomatos at first tried to get it to leave, but it stood its ground and now its like they tolerate it. i was actualy going to start a post and share a pic when i get time.

I've heard not to mix different types, even as juvis. tomatoes and maroons are supposed to be very aggressive, so I def wouldn't try it with either of them. You could do say, a percula, a misbar percula, a picasso, etc since they are all types of percula, same with ocellaris, but I wouldn't mix percs with tomatoes with ocellaris etc. JMO though.
