Compatability with Eibli Angel and Mimmic Tang (A. tristuis)

Im trying to finalize my stocking list for 210 gal display and was looking for info on keeping these two fish together. Among other inhabitants there will be one other tang and one other dwarf angel with these two.

My stocking order places the Dwarf Eibli in the display about 3 months before the Mimic Tang. Unfortunately their sizes will be pretty close.

Does anyone have any personal exp. with this mix? Does this sound likely to work or best to be avoided?

The main aggression you would have would be from the C. eiblii. I have never experiemented with the mix, but I imagine you may have some problems with that order. I would add the tang first, personally. Regardless of that, you may still have some issues (or maybe [hopefully] not), due not only to similar coloration, but feeding habits as well. It could potentially work, especially in a tank as large as yours. I don't see too much of a reason not to try, though. Eventually, the tang will look differently, anyway, so much of that potential aggression will subside then.

I will probably err on the side of caution and chose a different dwarf or tang just to be safe. No fish in the display yet so I have plenty of time to think about it before I make a decision.

Thanks for your input , Chris
