Compatibility Question..

Okay, so my friend gets a hold of me this morning and tells me his tank has a leak. He pulled everything out into buckets with a heater and wants to know what I would like.

I have a 54 gallon tank that could use some of his live rock, feather duster, and a few mushrooms. I know that stuff is fine. I have a lawnmower blenny and a mating pair of clownfish. He has a dwarf lionfish around 3 or 4 inches long and a small clownfish. I have a feeling both of these would cause problems in my tank. Correct me if I'm wrong. I also have two peppermint shrimp but he has a shrimp also and the lionfish has not eaten it. He feeds it frozen krill.

I'm going to meet up with him in a few hours for the rock. I'm waiting to hear back on the other items from you guys ...thank you so much

i personally wouldn't add fish to my display tank that i wasn't planning to begin with. no need to bring down 2 systems because 1 of them failed.
it'd be pails with pumps for the night and a trip to the lfs the next day if it were me.

I agree the third clown is a recipe for disaster and the lion is a huge risk

+3, perhaps use a 30 gallon Brute Trash can to hold the livestock and rocks.
