Ok cool. You can just buy those filter sock clamps and mount them on the sump cant you? And what kind of test kits do the best? I had the full Seachem test kit for freshwater and the results were kind of hard to tell sometimes lol

If you can find a little bit of live rock form a lfs or local reefer club it's a nice way to seed the dry rock with bacteria and critters and coralline algae. Using a little bit as seed makes it easy to check for bad hitchikers like aiptasia or predatory shrimps and stuff.
Joining a local group is a good way to pick up used gear, frags, and advice too.

For my 55 I don't find that I need more than a pair of 5gallon buckets for water storage and changes, but some people like to do the brutes. I would if I had a bigger tank. The regular io salt is fine for a while but once you get a few coral's going you'll want to be adding kalk to your top off water. An autotopoff is nice to have if you can budget for it, I'd plan for one that can handle kalkwasser. Not necessary during the cycle but something to plan for since you'll need room under the tank, or plumbing if the reservoir is remote.

Good luck!
