Great article with good and easy to understand information. This would have been useful when I was first learning about the different coral. I am an old salt but still enjoy soft coral and LPS and a few macroalgae thrown in too!

Thanks Tamara! They definitely are underrated. They can add movement and a punch of red or green color to a tank just like coral and most for a fraction of the cost.

Tamara, I will say that this tank is the prettiest, and easiest tank that I have ever had. I set it up in Nov 2016 as a seahorse tank and switched it over to a high nutrient reef in 2020. So maturity is probably contributing to a lot of the success of this tank, along with some luck.
