Concerned about McCosker Flasher Wrasse

We got a Diamond Goby about a week ago and it is making my tank really cloudy everyday but has gotten a little better . Ever since this has started, my McCosker Flasher Wrasse has this Slimy Mucus attached to its body. Upon researching about it, this is normal. What I am concerned about it is that it has been under a rock and has not come out for the past 2 days - not even during feedings. Usually it is out swimming all around the tank being happy.

Water Parameters are good. Should I be worried or will it eventually come out? We also have a Clown and it seems to be fine.

Thank you for any help

Do you think you can take a clear picture of the wrasse? Slimy mucous does not sound good as it's the classical symptom of brooklynella. The fact that it hides and stopped eating makes it convincing that it has a disease.

Was the goby quarantined?

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply.

I am unable to get a decent picture of it. The skin is not sloughing off and the goby was not quarantined. There was no interaction between the wrasse and goby.

I took a turkey baster and squirted some food in its little tunnel and it was eating. For some reason it won't come out.

What you are describing seems to be "fear". There may be real intimidation or the flasher wrasse may just be new and waiting to see if the coast is clear. Small tanks seem to enhance this behavior, larger tanks tend to reduce it.
