what kind of eel? (is what I should have asked first)
I have a Snowflake moray and he's completely fine with all my snails, hermits, Tigertail cuke (actually they share the same cave most of the time), abalone, bristle worms (large/small), etc... just not actual crabs... I found the Eel sneaking up on my Mithrax more than a couple times in the few days it was in his tank - I quickly moved it back to the Display tank (Eel is in the Lagoon). I also got a couple mystery crabs with some rock rubble .... they both disappeared within a couple weeks...
