Condy anenome shrinking?

Good day my fellow reefers, yesterday I picked up a condy for pretty cheap along with a false perc clownfish. They were not paired just hoping they would eventually. After aclimating the condy I put him in my tank and he wouldn't latch on to anything so I placed him in the back (low flow area) and figured he would eventually move around and find a place he liked. Overnight he moved and wedged himself in between live rock in the back of my tank where it's pretty dark and low flow. He's been there all day today and recently has been shrinking a little bit. Is this normal for them? I kept my lights off all day yesterday and let them return to their normal cycle today. I'm currently running a 150w MH in my 29g Biocube. Is he just adjusting to the lights? All my parameters are in check and I did a 20% water change today. SL is stable at 1.025 and temp ranges from 78-80. All my SPS and LPS are doing fine so I'm just wondering if he's adjusting to his enviorment. He was previously in a tank with T5 lighting. Sorry for the long post just trying to be specific! One last thing, he's still showing good color with the pink tips. Thanks in advance!!

Naturally, no clownfish will host condylactus.. condylactus also has a fairly strong sting and usually never stay put and keep moving around the tank. These are the worst anemones to add to a reef tank.

Yeah they'll shrink a little when stressed. Just watch out for bleaching or melting.. if it starts melting you might seriously want to stock up on carbon and make sure you have a good skimmer..

Well the clown didn't seem to mind when he was in the anemone during acclimation. As far as the moving goes, I'm going to keep a close eye on him, which might not be enough, but if he seems persistent to mess with anything I might trade him out. As far as his symptoms go, can you give me any additional information on that?
