coney captivity size

Hi, Im interested in a coney grouper that I saw in my lfs. They have like 5 for $5. I want to know how much it will grow in captivity, they are like 2 and a half inches. Im planning to have him in a 30g reef with a pair of jawfish and nothing more. I know it sounds crazy but I not loose something if I ask.

I was reading some info of the grouper and in get very big so I will not doing this.
