Connecting PEX to PVC

I have a large amount of 1" PEX tubing left over from a project. I am wondering if anybody has had any luck with a way to connect it to regular PVC fittings. Every fitting I see is made of metal.

BONUS: if anybody has a MP40W driver and is willing to sell it I will name my first born after you.
