Considering a new tank

I am considering the Marineland 150DD and am looking for some feedback on the tank. I see there are threads here that are years old and processes change over the years and want to see if this would be a good buy. I think the 150 is the biggest I can go since it will be going on the first floor of a wood frame house. I am looking to get the tank and stand since i hear that increases the warranty coverage of the tank. Any insight is a appreciated.

Find the center I beam of the house and put it there. That's the strongest spot in the house. You shouldn't have much trouble getting an even lager tank for that spot.
Then plumb the sump downstairs or into the next room. I don't know if a warrantee means much in relatively small tanks like this. Just build a good quality level stand and see if you can have the distributer sign off on it.
Might not matter IDK.

I had a 330 8ftx 30in x 30in in my wood frame house. What you need to do is put it along a weight bearing wall that has support under it in the crawl space. I once saw a waterbed sitting on dixie cups. Think more surface area/larger footprint to spread out the weight. Longer is also better as it will spread more of the weight over more floor joist.

I currently have a MarineLand 180 6ft x 24 x 24 with their Monterey stand and canopy. Kind of pricey but it looks nice. Build quality is not as good as they were in the past ones I have seen and you can probably get a local cabinet maker to build for less. However it is more of a pain and almost no warranty with the local guy.
