Considering QTing my fish in the display tank

Ok, well I am eventually setting up my 360g sometime in 08, but for now, I have my 6ft 110g set up as a "holding display" tank. I have it bare bottom and about 150g in the system including a fuge. I don't have a spare 6ft tank and with quite a few bigger fish (two angels, two tangs and other misc fish as well). So I'd rather QT the fish in the 110g. Since it is bare bottom, I could simply remove the LR and the fuge. Now I want to cure for everything humanly possible. I have tried copper before with ich, and didn't like it, I used hypo with better results. I would like to hypo the fish for ich, but what else should I use to cure/prevent them from any other disease (velvet, flukes etc etc)? Also I was thinking about getting reef rock (dead rock) I can get it for cheapier then a buck a pound. I don't want to just have pvc in the tank, I want the fish to feel somewhat comfortable still. Will hypo have any effect on the dead rock or any other treatment? Then I could use it as base rock when the QT session is over? Also I want to use this tank as a reef tank someday, so any major treatments that will kill future inverts can't be used. Any suggestions, advice, thoughts or opinions? Thanks!
