contemplating sale

To make room for a Chelmon muelleri and possibly a Centropyge sp. or more anthias, I'm contemplating selling off my rose BTA along with its mated M/F pair of yellow stripe maroon clownfishes. I've had the anemone since March 2004 and the clowns since June of the same year. The anemone has split for me once, but I no longer feed it, so it doesn't grow as fast now. Its about 6" across. The clowns have never laid for me, but the female is getting large enough to do so now. I'll have to clear it with my wife first, and they have to go as a trio, as I'm not separating the clowns from their host. You'll also get a good-sized neon green Pavona that is encrusted on the LR the anemone is attached to. There're a couple of Majonos on the rock, but we'll nuke them when the anemone is removed. $110 is what I'm asking for it all, and prices I've seen on rose BTAs lately, which are harder to find right now, are around $100 for the anemone alone.

Matt will probably be all over that. I was looking for a clown pair a while ago, I just can't take care of one now. Good luck selling them Dave.

Sale pending; that was way too quick! Should've asked more, but I generally prefer to share my love of the hobby than make money at this.

If it doesn't materialize, I'd be interested as well. Already have one maroon pair, but they're not large enough for breeders quite yet.

I'd have been all over it Donny ;) -- especially considering the spectacular health of Dave's specimens, but I now have 4 pairs of spawning maroons, 3 of which are gold-striped. 4,000+ eggs per month is more than I (or the local market) can handle! Whatever I'm doing over here, the maroons seem to like it, now if only the rarer species would take a hint...

BTW Dave that is a very generous offering for the trio; I hope that you are able to find them a good home.
