Controlling a Vortech MP10 with a Reeflink

Hi, I have a Reeflink controlling Radions and Vectra on my main tank. I want to get a Mp10 for a 2nd tank.

In order for the Vortech to change modes throughout the day, does the Reeflink need to have a constant reliable connection to the Vortech MP10? I know the Radions don't need it as I can unplug the reeflink and the lights continue to operate.

Thanks.

Seymour,

Both our VorTech and Radions do not require a constant connection in order to follow their schedule. With that in mind, you can program the MP10wQD using the ReefLink then move it outside the ReefLink's range and have it follow a schedule without issue.
