Cooking live rock question

Hi will cooking my live rock kill Aiptasia i have lots of this stuff all over my rock i have been trying to kill them with Aiptasia-X but it seems ever time i try to kill them a new one will come out. I am going to be down grading from 100gl to a 75gl in the next 2 months so i was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to cook the rock so when i set up the new 75gl the rock would be clean thx

"Cooking" your rock will kill aiptasia.

Cooking is the best way to kill Aiptasia and get rid of many other "bad" stuffs.

When I had a bad aiptasia infestation I didn't just cook the rock. I wanted to take no chances. I soaked it in RODI water (no salt) for a week before the cooking to be sure they were all dead.
