I was feeding my anemone some chopped squid yesterday and I guess some pieces got away. I found my 2" Recordia taking in a 1 1/2" piece of squid. I had no idea these guys could eat like this!

I dont know if you guys are joking but Im 1000% sure its a ricordia... not an anemone.

wow, that's weird, they dont even look like the same thing in those two different pics, the first pic really does look like an anenome...dont even look like they are on the same rock. Funny how pictures can look totally different. My rics like to eat but something else usually comes by and snags the bigger pieces.
 
Its still on the same rock (piece of rubble) but it was moved from my 7.5 gallon nano with 50/50 PC lighting (second pic) to my 112 with 2x175W metal halide lighting. Thats why it looks different. I wasnt sure it was gonna do well with the move but its almost doubled in size.
