Cooling your fresh salt water

So most of us keep our RODI and water change system in a garage. I wanted to do a water change this evening but my water is way to warm because my garage has been closed all day. I am sure I am not the first one to do this but I took ice packs and put them in ziplock bags and floating them in my fresh mixed salt water. I have about 10 ice packs so I am using 3 one gallon ziplocks. I am sure others have done this but for others who have not or newbies I thought I would share. Happy Reefing

i wait to do waterchanges at night, temperature of the new salt water is 85ish. Then I transfer to the sump and let 4 large fans blast it for a few hours till temp is 79 and turn back on the system. WhAA laaahh. its a pain yes, but thats what works for me
