hi everyone, i have a nikon coolpix S7c and i cannot take a good picture with it at all. what is the deal?

the pictures i take of people are okay, but my fish tank pics are bad. does anyone know how to use this thing? if so could you walk me through setting it up for tank pictures?

Can you post a few pics for us to see? That will help us make some suggestions on how to improve the pics.

You may need to play with the white balance and scene modes on your camera to get a good color rendition. One thing to remember if your taking pics of the tank its good idea to turn off the pumps, clean the inside and outside of the glass and turn off all other lighting in the room to minimize glare. You should be able to get some good close ups as your macro focuses up to 1.5 inches. A tripod helps to minimize camera shake, not sure if yours has a tripod adapter screw. You will have quite a bit of photos that are not keepers. I used to shoot photos for calenders and out of a 36 count roll I may get 1-2 keepers. So try to experiment with different settings and different angles.

alright i will try the white balance and the scene modes, thanks. i havenever shut the tank off when taking pictures i will try that too.
thanks
