copepod/reef bug type combo

Looking for what type of copepods and amphipods and phyto everyone uses for their tank. i have used all dry rock and thus need to seed. the only thing i added was algaebarn feast and all it seemed to do was make these little tail looking white things attach to walls and stuff. the fish dont seem to eat them or anything.

i have a 40 gal breeder and 20 gal sump with refugium

i know certain types of pods eats others so i am wondering what some good combos are for pods?

The easiest way to seed your tank is to purchase a large amount of chaeto. In general it will be teeming with life but if you can get it from an established aquarium then even better.
