copepods and amphipods

any place to buy them in the valley? I have been using a lot of reefstew but I havnt found any bugs. Any recommendations?
 
Reef stew has copepods. You can buy Amphipods usually at Reef Culture. Realistically unless you started with dry rock they are in the tank though.
 
I have dumped about a gallon of rs into my tank and probably a quart of it into my fuge and i still don't see any bugs in my tank or sump, lights on or off.
 
It's difficult to see copepods once they are in the tank. My mandarin goes around pecking at the sand and rock and I see nothing but I know he's eating pods because that's what he does.
 
(Antisatan) What size bottle did you order? And what size tank do you have. I was thinking about buy one get one free offer and its very tempting
 
I just got the 500 as a try and there was alot in the bag. I have a 80 gal. Put some in sump refugium and rest in tank after lights went out.
 
I bought from reefs2go for my old tank and was very impressed. Im glad you mentioned it because I have been trying to remember who I had ordered from. I also did the buy one get one and it was enough to get a never ending supply to the 90 gallon reef I put them in.
 
Actually (antisatan) your post from earlier kind of helped me to just do it. Thx for convincing me, it was the right decision!
