copper and acrylic

not sure if this is the right forum but thought i would start here first. im getting ready to start a fowlr tank. i found a used acrylic sump and filter for a great price that should work well for me. i know this sump has had copper in it. is that going to cause any problems with my tank? i plan on getting some lionfish and scorpianfish and they say not to treat them with copper. any advise would be great.

make sure you clean the tank very well...... i no expert but i don't think it will hurt. but i would wait for some answers from some of the other members to confirm that.
