I'm having aiptasia problems in my 150. Peppermints worked well until my shark ate them... Now I'm looking for a new solution, the cb butterfly. Tankmates Are
1 female 8 inch bamboo shark
1 clown fish
Assortment of eagle eyes and radioactive dragon eye zoas
Nuclear green palys
Random Palys
Frilly mushrooms
Hairy mushrooms
Blue anthelia
Actinodiscus shrooms
xl open brain
Montipora
Nitrates 10

Will a cb be happy in this setup?

CBB may or may not eat aiptasia. Some do, some do not. CBB may or may not be reef safe. CBB may or may not eat in captivity.

Yea. I must say I got very lucky with my CBB. He won't eat aipstasia but he does eat frozen brine and mysis. Also reef safe thus far.

If he ate Aipstasia then it'd be win win win. But the chances of that are very slim, almost none.

Mine eats Mysis and other frozen foods but has yet to touch my major aptasia problem. If he hadn't been a gift and the LFS would have taken him back I would have brought him back. But hes reef safe, you just run that risk.

All that being true, you have a better chance of them being healthy and eating if they come through Australia.

Is there a way to tell where they come from other then asking the LFS? Do they have slight variations in marking or anything according to their place of origin?

Usually the LFS or online vendor can provide that. They may go for slightly more though if from Australia. They catch and handle their fish better.
