Copper banded butterfly diet

I have a Copper banded butterfly that hasn't eaten any prepared foods offered to him. I have had him for about a month now and he keeps busy picking from the rocks in my tank. I assume he is getting nourishment to live but I am worried that it may not be enough for him to be healthy or even survive. Does anyone have suggestions on foods that they have experience that these fish will eat? Also, I have considered using Reef Bugs from Marc Weiss to keep the LR stocked with food for him; would this even supply the correct food source? Thanks in advance for any information.

I got mine to go after frozen food readily by using garlic. At first i only put it on frozen mysis then i moved to other foods and now he eats any food i put in my tank just about.

try introducing him to PE mysis shrimp, it is more nutrient and tastier than your regular mysis shrimp you get at the local pet store :D Good luck!

+1 for live black worms. Mines ate frozen cubes (any) and freeze dried mysis which I soaked in vitachem and selcon.

LIVE BLACKWORMS!!!!!!

Mine will eat no frozen except for the occasional bloodworm.

FYI: These are also "crack" for baby and breeding Banggai's.

I have a stubborn one. Runs away from live blackworms. Lol

Loves mysis. That's about it except for constant hunting.
