Copper Treatment and Impact

I have some fish infected with ich in the early stage. I have two cleaner shrimps, snails and crabs. No corals, a lot of live rock.

What's my best course of action? I would like to use copper but know that would wipe out my inverts. Would it also wipe out my "bugs"? I'd rather loose my inverts than my snails, so I am considering copper treatment. However, will the copper get into my rocks and sand bed? Would I be able to fully remove the copper and add inverts and corals laters?

Never use copper inside your regular tank. It will reek havoc for a long time after wards :|

If you really must, move them to another tank to treat them with copper.
