I have a copperbanded butterflyfish that I've had for about a week. My purple tang was bullying him around and now is leaving him alone and the CBB is swimming around the tank and having a good time. But I noticed a white nodule/growth on his right swim fin behind his gills yesterday and than today i noticed a white nodule growing from his skin exactly where the one from his fin was growing. I looked it up and it appears to be lymphocystis virus. I managed to catch the CB and put him in a newly set up QT. Is there anything you guys think i should do or medication to treat him? here is a picture....
(here is a side view u can see its growing out of him)
thats the best I could get using my cell phone and him in the little tank. There was one on his fin right where the one on his body was but it apparently fell off in the transfer to the QT.
Please help ty!
