Coral Assistance

Temp. - 80
Ammonia - 0 ppm
Nitrite - 0 ppm
Nitrate - 10 ppm
pH - 8.4
Calcium - 300 ppm (I have some dosing stuff here, just need some directions to help me bring this up, I realize it's low)
Alk - 12 dKH, 215 ppm

I have BRS Kalkwasser, Soda Ash, Calcium Chloride here (just ordered it in) but I've never dosed anything before.

Hard to tell with those pictures, but they kind of look like mesenterial filaments. If they are that, they'll look like really thin white threads, all jumbled together. They'll disappear as quick as they appeared. Just another way a coral will defend itself or clear out areas before expanding into new territory.

300ppm Calcium? What salt mix are you using and what's your salinity? I'd double check that number with a different brand test kit before trying to adjust things. That just sounds too low to be correct.

IO Reef Crystals. Salinity was 1.023, is now at 1.024... I'll be trying to go up to 1.025 over another week. I did a 30 gallon water change (100 gallons water in the system). I checked it twice... I have a new test kit on the way since yesterday.
