coral banded butterfly

Mine doesnt touch any of the 3 clams in my 92 gallon reef. It depends on your particular CBB if it likes clams or not. Doesnt help much does it????

CBB. Some eat clams, some do not. Some are reef safe, some are not. Some eat aiptasia, some do not. Some eat in captivity, some do not.

I had an old one with a clam for a long time and he never ate nipped at it. The one I have now never nips at my corals.

What do you feed your CBB's? I had mine about a week now but it just eats off the rocks all day. I haven't seen it eat food that I feed the tank so I'm a bit worried. TIA.

start with live black worms(not very nutritious but irresistible!), then within a few months try to wean the cbb onto brine and mysis using as many different techniques as you can find.

I got mine from a lfs. from what I know California is home of a few great live black worm shipping facilities. make sure you change their water every day with fresh water so they'll last longer in the fridge.
