coral banded shrimp...

I have a mated pair of coral banded shrimp that i caught in the wild. i have had them now for about nine months, and they have both successfully molted twice. this morning i noticed that one of them was missing their claws, and the blue that is normally on the underbelly (breast area) of the shrimp had "migrated" if you will to the top of the shrimp. Is this normal, or is it a stress condition? i know the claws will grow back within a couple of weeks, no problem, but is the shrimp in danger? Thanks, Jason

Did you add anything recently ? Test your water ? Are you sure that they are a mated pair ? My CBS was very territorial and attacked his tank mates until I had to remove him . Could it be parasites? Shell disease ? Oh by the way [welcome] to RC come on folks lets help jas out . You also might want to do a search .
