Coral banded Shrimp

I have a question! My CBS has molted twice since January, and I see notable growth, he is every bit 6 in, long....If he is a shrimp eater, could he have possibly have killed my banded goby? The goby was about 3-3 1/2"...

I have not seen him for a week, and he always comes out to eat.....Lenny, my Blenny, and the YWG are still there and doing fine...

Just curious wether I need to get rid of this booger before he eats my beloved Lenny!!!

Thanks!

I could feed him to Spot

 That is the kind of support I'm talking about.

Thank you both for the encouragment and support in my time of need!:D

If I find out he is eating thing's he's not suppsoed to, I will probably feed him to my own "Spot"!! He can live in the sump til then!! Although Coral banded Shrimp would be a rather expensive entree for the puffers!

I don't know for sure, but I thought CBS were safe to keep with fish. I have one, and he's fine with them.

I thought they were fish safe too, but I read somewhere that they will eat pepermint shrimp, and cleaner shrimp too...so why not a fish?
I also have a serpant star, he is huge, probably about 8" across, could he be my culprit?

I really didn't want the star, but he came with a package...just don't want to lose anymore fish to something I added to their environment!

hmmmmmm... I didn't know the CBS would bother a live fish... they definately will help clean up if the fish is dead...

The one living in my tank of misfits has eaten 3 firefish and one yellow goby. These were all happy healthy fish.
I have zero trust in these shrimps being fish safe.

Mine is a little testy when the fish get too close but I'd say more defensive than aggressive. I guess I don't have anything small enough for him to bother. I do have the peppermints when I combine the tanks, maybe I need to rethink that.... I'd hate to jeopardize them they're tame enough to crawl on my finger and eat. Looks to me like a mated pair....

A little testy??? That thing had major PMS when I was there Saturday :)

I would NOT put your peppermints in with a CBS... Mine made it almost 3 months, and I thought all was good til about 2 weeks ago!!

What was left of the carcass was at the back of the tank, where you know who hides all day!

I have a stupid spider crab in my sump, otherwise I would throw him in there, but think he would end up food!!
Anybody interested in him? Or the spider crab? Had a guy from WI want me to ship it to him, the spider, but I'd really rather not do that....

I thought about pitching him in the predator tank when I get it set up....he'd probably live a while, I want to get small fish, 3-4", and I'm guessing he's about 2 1/2-3" across now, legs included...all hairy, looks like a damn tarantula!:eek1:
