coral beauty and blue leg hermits

I have noticed recently that i have had a depletion of hermit crabs in my tank. I find them what appears to be half eaten. the only new addition to the tank is a coral beauty. Could if be the culprit?

never heard of a coral beauty picking off hermit crabs. I agree with skh are you sure they are not molts of hermits?

I dont think there molts unless the molt there whole legs and and large claw. I just thought i doo have a large red leg hermit crab could it possible kill them?

Bluelegs like to kill each other, sometimes for no good reason...
