Coral Beauty sickness

My coral beauty seems to be coming down with something. Pretty much stays in one spot of the tank and is breathing pretty heavy. Typically swims all around and eats like a pig. Is still eating, just not anywhere close to the way it did a couple days ago. Any ideas on what can be going on?

I did lose my Blue hippo tang a little over a month ago, not sure what happened to him; he was fine then we went out of town over the weekend and came back to him being sucked up against a power head, prior to that mishap he seemed perfectly fine.

Thanks!

you checked your tank params to make sure everything was okay?

i would check ammonia too (to see if something else died)

Mine did almost the exact same thing before he died. I guess we never really know about the age of the fish we buy unless we buy them really small. Most dwarf angels I see in stores are adult size. For all we know they're already at the end of their life.

Someone, can't remember who, at Marine Solutions told me once to bring in my dead fish and someone there would do an autopsy. No charge. Whoever it was just enjoyed the science of it.

I would inspect the fish as closely as you can (if the autopsy at marine solutions is free and they will do it I would do that). Could be end of life as said. The death of the hippo tang a month ago is strangely close but could be completely unrelated. What other fish and corals are in the tank? I would not make any rash decisions. Just keep an eye closely on everything else and see if you notice any small changes. You may also check for stray voltage (current) in the water. Simple test and quick and easy to rule out. I doubt that is it but something that does not hurt to check once in awhile.
