My coral beauty, who is about a year old, has popeye, cloudy puffy lip, and fin damage only on his right side. The left side of the fish looks fine. The fin damage doesn't look like rot, it kind of looks like it got caught in something and half ripped off.
This is a 29g reef tank with a lot of soft corals. It is stocked with a few crabs, hermits, and various snails. The only other inhabitants in the tank are two percula clownfish that are 7 years old.
He's eating fine, and I just noticed the cloudy lip over the weekend. The popeye just started today. I did not notice the fin damage previously.
I do weekly water changes of 4-5 gallons, and tank parameters are all consistent with my logs.
Any ideas on what might be causing this (the fin damage is what's confusing me) and what I can do to remedy the problems?
