coral colors changing

i have been using the npx bioplastics with the TLF 550 reactor now for 6 mos.
it has ofcourse taken my nitrates down usually between 0 and 5ppm. i run a 150 reactor with rox carbon, and gfo. i also use kalk. my main lighting is t-5 with some led stunner strips for accent. i am starting to see a change in the coloring of my brains. they are not fading but changing hue. the dark red is now looking fuschia, the greens are picking up some blue, the edges that were yellow are now turing green. my sps are going crazy with growth. i know what you guys are thinking. what's the problem right? no problem really; i just heard from someone that he had noticed colors changing on his corals since using the ecobak pellets. now i'm noticing it in a few of my corals, and was wondering if anyone else was experencing this. maybe this is a side effect. any comments or experience shared would be greatly apperciated.

thanks

It's not "just" from the pellets. It's an overall reduction of nutrients in your tank(what the pellets are designed for). Sounds like everything is just coming into fruition and has stabilized. Keep at what your doing because your doing it right and don't change a thing. Just let it ride my friend. Pics?

I had a similar problem were my corals were beconing lighter in color. I started using Seachem Reef Plus and colors are looking good again

well i would really like to post some pictures but the camera i currently have isn't very good. business is down right now so a new camera is out of the question.

i know what you mean i was thinking that they might be fading, but after careful consideration it seems that the hue of their color is changing. you know that when a coral is fading you can start to see through them. i don't have any of that. the color is still very concentrated just seems to be shifting. i hope this better explains what i'm experiencing.

thanks again for the thoughts
