Coral Concerns

I recently upgraded to T5's and I have a Toadstool mushroom that is attatched to a rock near the top of my tank. It looks like its losing some color and getting a little smaller since I took the PC's off. Should I move this down or will it eventually adapt to the lighting. If I should how would I do this it is grown on to the rock. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

T5's blast some serious light. I'd mvoe it down and leave it down until it starts to look normal again. The color may change a little long term, but if the coral looks healthy, it'll just be from the different lights. If you can get the rock out of the tank, hammer and chisel the toadie off the main rock (leave some rock around the base to help remounting).

Either that or use a few layers of fiberglass window screen over it and gradually take off layers.
