in my 30 cube i had a receeding monti cap. so i did a h20 change now its worse my birdsnest is too and one of my head to my hammer died off. my halide is a 250 open water top. bout 8" from top the bulb that is. could these be the prob? or too low or too high calcium levels? all help is appreciated

no pics alk and nitrates were high. calcium is maybe 350ppm on my seachem test and past 500 on my red sea test!!! dnt knw which.

what are the actual nitrate and alk levels? Get a salifert calcium kit, they are accurate.
