Coral feeding

I currently have a 72 gallon mixed reef w/ mostly softies / LPS and a couple of non photosynthetic corals. I target feed twice a week after lights out, a combination of mysis/bloodworms/cyclopeeze and small pieces of shrimp w/ selcon. I turn of the pumps/skimmer/powerheads etc for one hour.
I have several acans, duncans, sun corals, balanophylia, etc.. This becomes very time consuming beacuse I feed at about 11:30 pm. It takes aboutn 45 minutes. when the lights are out. Will the corals get enough to eat if I just throw the food into the tank w/ powerheads running and let th flow take the foot to the corals. Thye have very good polyp extension at this time. Sometimes I feel like they won't get enough. can I limit the feedings to once a week? What food have you had success with?. Sorry for all the questions, just wanted to simplify things a bit.

IME all corals will get enough food by throwing food in so long as you have enough circulation....This is how I feed my tank. If I ever notice a slowdown in growth I will target feed that animal.....I only have to target feed 3 of my corals.......also when I put the food in I actually spread it across the whole top of aquarium....

The sun corals and balanophylia should be target fed at least 3 or 4 times a week for best health, polyp extension, and growth. I would try broadcast feeding and see how it goes but keep on feeding those guys by hand.
