Coral food....Humbug eggs

MIKE NY

Two Decade club
I thought this was pretty cool and would share. I have a pair of three striped Humbugs, one is bigger than the other and not sure which is which. They have been swimming together and the larger one dancing for weeks now. Today I noticed the larger one defending the corner glass of the tank, where the smaller one usually hangs out, and not it's bolt hole. I thought it was algae or detris at first, but I just cleaned the glass yesterday. It's hard to get a clearer pic with my camera.......

Nice Mike, the larvae are tiny, especially compared to clownfish eggs, so your description of coral food is a good one.
The larger one is probably the female, like clownfish (can carry more eggs in a bigger basket).
Prior to laying, you should see a small protusion on the ventral surface which is the ovipositor, which the female uses to lay her eggs.
