My best guess is a Favia Laxa. However all Faviidae family looks the same to me

The favia dips down in the mouth whereas diploastrea comes to a domed point. They look quite a bit different when you see them in person.

And the coralites are more close together and not as spaced out as the laxa.

Anyway, I think they both dip down in the pictures I can't see what you are seeing I guess, it just show how controversial it could be to ID corals unless you kill them

If you look in COTW books, some of the other pictures show the mouth on the Laxa its a little wider, the corallites don't have uniform shape, and are flatter where the edges meet whereas the diplo has no space between the corallites, more dome shaped, and a small, tight mouth.

Not arguing of course just avoiding work and like discussing the particulars of IDing corals. hehe
